Want to earn yourself a BIG voucher in the lead up to Christmas & support those doing it tougher than you? Read on.
Picture this. You’re at Thanksgiving dinner this weekend (yep a thing in Australia too), and your friends start talking about the cost of living and the cost of home ownership these days. They even start talking about their mortgage going up, up, up and you tell them you know a guy. Someone who can help ease that pressure.
You tell them to get in touch with Lee, Marielle and team Fidget.
This isn’t a pipe dream for us at Fidget. This happens every day and we couldn’t be more thankful for each and every one of you who have referred and entrusted us with your friends and family over the years.
So, if that’s you, then thank you.
Upon reflecting of all the things I’m thankful for this week I realised I had quite a list. I’m thankful for my wife and kids, my family, my friends at church and beyond. Marielle, Jess and the team at Fidget who make it easy for me to do what I love each and every day.
I’m thankful for my reasonable health and for making it 40 years given the kms I’ve put this body through (in my early years of course).
I’m truly thankful for you guys. You read my brain dumps and humour me with replies from time to time. You are comfortable enough to entrust us with not only your home lending but for those you love too and for that we are truly, truly thankful.
Without you there would be no Fidget. There would be countless people paying their home loan off longer than they should and many a broken marriage (financial stress is a major reason for relationship breakdowns).
If I could hug through the screen I would. If not a hugger than perhaps an email high five or an elbow bump?
In summary, thanks!
Now, I promised an offer and here it is.
1 in 6 children are living in poverty and in a couple of suburbs that we service that number is nearly 30%. That’s almost 1 in 3 children living below the poverty line.
What’s the poverty line? It’s a family of 4 earning less than $1k (gross) per week TOTAL… Let that sink in.
Many of these children go to school each day without food and some say “there’s no food in the cupboard at home, I need to eat a sandwich before I leave school or I won’t eat anything until the next day”.
This a real quote from a kid using the wonderful service Eat Up. They provide school lunches for 15,000 children per week who would otherwise go hungry.
How about Geelong Mums? They support mums in need who need baby goods. I don’t know about you but I couldn’t be more thankful of my mum and the sacrifices she has had to make to raise my sister and I. Geelong Mums have a waiting list of 1200 women needing clothing for their child. For $59 we can buy clothing to last them a whole year.
OK, OK here’s the deal…
For every referral* that you send Fidget until December 31st, I will send you a $100 gift voucher and will provide 50 lunches for vulnerable students AND we will clothe 2 children for a year.
BUT if you refer them in the next 7 days I’ll double it.
$200 gift voucher to you
100 lunches for vulnerable students AND;
4 children clothed for a WHOLE YEAR!
There will be no limit to this offer. I really really want to help as many mums as possible get what they need – but I need your help.
On behalf of those mums, the children in need and our team at Fidget THANK YOU so much in advance for those conversations you are going to have with those you love this week.
Let’s do this.
Lee
P.S If you want to refer someone, just get them to mention you and/or send me an email with their name, number and email and I’ll get in touch.
*Someone that mentions you and submits a loan application. The date you send them to us determines the amount of voucher at submission so make it snappy
